Born from a maternity nurse and a family she helped
Kinvaya began with Diane, a Registered Nurse and Advanced Neonatal Practitioner with forty years of experience caring for babies and their families, and with Siobhan, a mother who had Diane by her side for the first months of her own baby's life.
Siobhan saw what most families never get: someone who had truly met her baby, who could look across sleep, feeding and play and help her see what her child was telling her. Not a rulebook, but a way of thinking she could keep. Kinvaya exists to give every family that experience.

The Kinvaya Triangle organises what you notice about your child into three connected domains: Sleep, Eat and Play. Parents learn to recognise patterns, form ideas, try a response and build their own understanding of their child.
The Triangle is an educational framework and is still being evaluated. It doesn't replace clinical advice.
Evidence-informed
Grounded in decades of neonatal and family practice, and in current research on infant sleep, feeding and development.
Child-specific
The child, not the calendar. Two babies of the same age can need very different things, and so can their families.
Capability-building
We measure success by how confident you feel on your own, not by how often you need us.
Diane
Registered Nurse and Advanced Neonatal Practitioner, trained in NHS infant sleep, with forty years' experience supporting newborns and families. Diane leads Kinvaya's clinical approach and our practitioner standards.
Siobhan
A parent first. Siobhan experienced Diane's support as a new mother and built Kinvaya so every family could have a village that has actually met their baby.
What Kinvaya is not
- Not diagnostic: we never replace your midwife, health visitor or GP.
- Not prescriptive: there is no single routine every baby should follow.
- Not about getting it right: it's about getting to know your child.
